No, this is no blog about the Eagles-song Desperado or about the Eagles at all. Well, a little bit it is. But the main subject of the blog is poker, the greatest thing in the world to get enormously frustrated about.

To limit the frustrations in the near future I made this blog. Those frustrations are not all related to bad beats, no those moments confirm that I’m winning. The real problem is that I’m too sweet for my opponents. Too many times I don’t dare to bluff myself or call the bluff of my opponent at essential moments. I’m still a queen of hearts who is, according to the Eagles, always someones best bet. But I’m an ambitious person and want to transform from an averagely winning player to an excellent and ruthless player who will beat you when she’s able.

How can this blog make me better? Every time I post something I will discuss one or several hands or situations that I experienced playing online or live poker (or saw in a pokerbroadcast on tv) where a decision seperates the men from the boys. This instead of quickly moving on to the next hand must prevent to make the same mistakes again in the future and in that way serve to become an excellent player.

Apart from those hands i will blog about poker in general and, as you can deduct from the Eagles-refferal, about my second passion next to poker: music. The beauty of it is that it’s perfectly to combine with poker, smoothly playing on the background while playing some hands.

So I hope this blog can make me and all the attentive readers better poker players so at the end we can meet eachother in de cardrooms of Vegas to milk the livegames there, where we will recognize eachother thanks to the tasteful music coming out of the earphones .
