I watched the videos of your play and I can say your play is quite loose, especially in that first video heads up. But sometimes luck is better than good play. I sure you don’t play this loose all the time though.

Within a couple of month of playing online I got one on PokerRoom and they paid 50 or 500 (diamonds)bonus. Mine wasn’t diamonds. Fast forward about 5 years to this past year. I got two within two weeks. One at 08 the other at Stud.

It’ll happen. And hopefully 3 others will stay for the ride and give you a nice pot. Usually that doesn’t happen but hope springs eternal.

It really depends on the situation if I slowplay me set or if I don’t. The players still in the hand also have an impact on my decision. If I’m still in the hand against loose aggressive players I tend to bet my set. If their only tight players in the hand I would rather check my set hoping to trap them on the turn or river. But actually it comes down to every specific situation.

you played that hand atrociously. your min turn c/r is so bad and you river bet omg is tilt inducing just shove and you MUCH MORE VALUE aka their whole stack. they wouldnt fold a jack let alone top 2. dont make a post on how to value bet the river n then do it terribly in an example :/ good luck in general though!

The all-in move itself isn’t that strange I think. If the pot was indeed that large, compared to his stack, and the person playing that 8c9c hand knew that he would get at least 2 callers, drawing such hand could be quite profitable once in a while.

nice pocket sixes… Flopped a set of sixes yesterday too — AK6 flop in an unraised pot is not perfect — the ace on the turn was VERY nice though…
